Ukrainian attack destroys Wildberries warehouse in Russia’s Tambov region
A fire destroyed a Wildberries warehouse in Kotovsk, Tambov Region, following a Ukrainian attack, Tambov Region Governor Yevgeny Pervyshov has said.
The attack left a 19-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman injured, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
“Thirteen drones were destroyed by air defence forces, while another three attack UAVs were shot down by the mobile ‘BARS-Tambov’ fire teams. Unfortunately, three drones managed to strike the warehouse building. <...> Once again, I appeal to the men of Tambov Region to join the defense of our skies,” he noted.
Earlier, the mayor of Kotovsk urged residents to stay indoors for the next two days due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The 108,000-square-meter logistics centre in the town was previously attacked on the night of July 18, when seven people were killed.
