Ukraine counts on €20 billion financial aid from EU until end of 2025
Ukraine anticipates that it will receive an approximate €20 billion in financial aid assistance from the European Union by the end of the year.
This figure was revealed by Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance amid Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko meeting the EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos and the Director General of the European Commission for Neighborhood and Extension Negotiations Gert-Jan Koopman in the Italian capital on July 9, Caliber.Az reports.
“By the end of the year, the Ukrainian government plans to receive an additional €20.1 billion in budgetary support from the EU,” the statement said, which was issued on the sidelines of the international conference dedicated to the restoration of Ukraine that is currently taking place in Rome.
According to data released by the foreign ministry, Ukraine has received a total of €52.5 billion in EU budgetary assistance over the past three years.
