Ukraine drone attack hits civilian infrastructure in Russia's Bryansk Almost 300 intercepted across regions

A Ukrainian drone strike has caused damage to residential buildings and vehicles in Russia’s Bryansk region, local authorities report.

Alexander Bogomaz, governor of the Bryansk region, told ASTRA that four apartment buildings and five civilian vehicles were affected in the Vygonichsky district. He confirmed that no casualties were reported. “Inspections will continue during daylight hours. Emergency and operational services are working on site,” Bogomaz said.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, a total of 287 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed overnight across multiple Russian regions. The breakdown of drone losses is as follows:

  • Bryansk region – 118 drones

  • Kaluga region – 40 drones

  • Moscow region – 40 drones, including 32 heading toward Moscow

  • Tula region – 27 drones

  • Novgorod region – 19 drones

  • Yaroslavl region – 11 drones

  • Lipetsk region – 10 drones

  • Smolensk region – 6 drones

  • Kursk region – 5 drones

  • Oryol region – 5 drones

  • Voronezh region – 4 drones

  • Ryazan region – 2 drones

The governor confirmed that emergency services are continuing on-site operations to assess and repair the damage caused by the strike.
