Ukraine drone strike wounds 13 in Russia’s Bryansk, child among injured

Thirteen people, including a child, were injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian city of Bryansk, regional governor Alexander Bogomaz announced.

According to the governor, the attack targeted Bryansk’s Bezhitsky district. All those injured were taken to the hospital, though no information has been released regarding their condition.

Two apartment buildings were damaged in the strike, affecting more than 20 flats and around 40 vehicles. Emergency and operational services are currently working at the scene, Bogomaz added.

During the night of May 7, drone threat alerts were issued across several districts of the Bryansk region, including the city of Bryansk and its surrounding suburbs.
