Ukraine hits energy facilities in Russia’s Belgorod with HIMARS rockets

The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a large-scale missile strike on energy infrastructure facilities in Belgorod, Russia, reportedly using US-made HIMARS rockets, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced on Telegram.

Significant damage was reported, with disruptions to electricity, water supply, and heating across the city and the surrounding Belgorod district, Caliber.Az reports.

Preliminary information indicates that no casualties were recorded.

The strike was reported on the evening of February 26, when around a dozen explosions were heard in the city. The attack was reportedly carried out using US-made HIMARS rockets.
