Ukraine launches 75 drones at Russian regions overnight

On the night of January 20 to 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched an attack on Russian regions using 75 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Details of the massive nighttime raid were disclosed by Russia’s Ministry of Defence in a statement published on Telegram, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the ministry, Ukrainian forces targeted Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, as well as the Astrakhan, Oryol, Rostov, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh regions, and the Republic of Crimea. Ukrainian drones were also shot down over the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. All intercepted UAVs were of the fixed-wing type.

The Russian Defence Ministry did not report any damage on the ground or casualties.
