Ukraine launches coordinated drone strikes across Russia’s Kursk region

Ukrainian forces have carried out drone strikes in Russia’s Kursk region, targeting the town of Lgov and the regional capital.

Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein said the attack in Lgov hit a bus, a grocery store and a bus stop. Two people were injured — the bus driver and a man near the store — and both received first aid.

According to the governor, one of the injured is a 40-year-old Belarusian citizen.

The attack also affected the city of Kursk. Preliminary reports indicate that drones struck four apartment buildings. Residents were evacuated, and authorities confirmed that one woman was injured.

Emergency services are working at the affected sites. Khinshtein said assistance would be provided to owners of damaged property and that repairs to the buildings would be carried out.
