Ukraine launches small-scale drone raid overnight, Russia claims full interception

Ukraine launched only three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into Russian territory overnight on April 27, Russia’s Ministry of Defence has announced.

According to the defence ministry, the attack targeted only one region — the Bryansk region. All three fixed-wing drones were destroyed by air defence systems.

The ministry described the overnight strike as one of the weakest drone attacks in recent months, noting that in January, similar numbers of UAVs were often intercepted during holiday periods, while in March and April, the number of drones shot down over Russian regions regularly exceeded 100 units.
