Ukraine prepares infrastructure for F-16s jets
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that the country is preparing infrastructure for F-16 fighters.
"Partners are providing us with maximum assistance. We will not say where exactly and what kind of infrastructure, but it is a complex work, everything is on schedule and according to plan," Caliber.Az quotes Danilov as saying.
Before that, the head of the Dutch Defense Ministry Kajsa Ollongren said that the kingdom was preparing to transfer to Ukraine six more F-16 fighter jets.
In total, the Netherlands will supply Ukraine with 24 fighter jets.
The commander of the Unified Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhiy Nayev, said that the F-16 fighters for Ukraine would be supplied with missiles with a range of 300-500 kilometres.
It is not specified what kind of missiles they are talking about, as the F-16s are a platform for a wide range of weapons.
