Ukraine’s presidential chief confirms home raid by anti-corruption teams
Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian president’s office, confirmed that Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) are conducting searches at his residence.
In a Telegram post, Yermak stated that NABU and SAP are indeed carrying out procedural actions at his home today, Caliber.Az reports.
“Investigators face no obstacles. They have been given full access to the apartment, and my lawyers are present to coordinate with law enforcement. From my side, there is full cooperation,” he wrote.
Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that NABU and SAP carried out searches at Andriy Yermak’s office in the government quarter.
Ukrainian Parliament deputy Maryana Bezuhla noted that President Zelenskyy is reportedly seeking a replacement for Yermak, suggesting that “similar processes have begun occurring in other regions” as well.
Yermak has served as Head of the Office of the President since February 2020 and is widely regarded as Zelenskyy’s right-hand man, playing a central role in wartime diplomacy, internal decision-making, and appointments. The anti-corruption sweep targeting his office is seen as part of a broader crackdown on alleged corruption within Ukraine’s wartime elite.
