Ukraine and the United States are set to hold high-level consultations in Switzerland in the coming days to discuss the parameters of a potential peace agreement, Ukrainian officials confirmed.
Senior officials from both countries will participate in the talks, which are part of an ongoing diplomatic effort to chart a path toward a just and sustainable peace.

Rustem Umerov, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council (NSDC), announced the consultations, emphasising Ukraine’s clear understanding of its national interests.
“Ukraine approaches this process with a clear understanding of its interests. This is the next stage of a dialogue that has been ongoing in recent days, aimed primarily at coordinating a vision for the next steps,” Umerov stated.
The official website of the Ukrainian president also released the composition of Ukraine’s delegation, which will engage not only with U.S. officials but also with other international partners and representatives of Russia as part of the broader peace negotiation process. The goal is to develop a framework for a fair and sustainable resolution to the ongoing conflict.
Umerov highlighted the value of U.S. involvement in the talks, praising their readiness for substantive dialogue. He stressed that Kyiv will continue to act responsibly and consistently, aligning its approach with the country’s national security needs.
