Ukrainian armed forces enter Zaporizhzhia's Rabotino village

Ukraine's Deputy Defenсe Minister Anna Malyar has said that servicemen of the 47th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces entered Zaporizhzhia District’s Rabotino village with combat.

"The soldiers of the 47th brigade, which entered Rabotino village with combat, organised evacuation of civilians on BMP Bradley. Our fighters perform planned combat work and destroy the enemy," Malyar wrote on Telegram on August 22, Interfax-Ukraine writes.

The deputy defence minister also said that Russian troops are shelling Rabotino with artillery in response.

"Fighting continues," she wrote.

The village has been under Russian occupation since March 2022.
