Ukrainian drone attack in Russia’s Krasnodar sets hospital, power line ablaze PHOTO / VIDEO
A medical centre and power line in Russia’s Krasnodar caught fire following a Ukrainian drone attack, the city’s mayor, Yevgeny Naumov, announced.

Residents of Krasnodar reported numerous explosions overnight on March 18. Earlier, Naumov confirmed that one drone struck an apartment in a multi-storey building, killing a resident.
The attack also ignited the roof of a medical centre. OSINT analysis by ASTRA, using eyewitness footage, identified the fire at the “Life Line” medical centre.
“During the interception of the drone attack, debris damaged the roof of a medical centre in the Yubileyny microdistrict and a power line. Firefighting efforts are underway. Electricity has been partially cut in the area. In the same district, drone fragments fell at two other addresses – in a courtyard of a multi-storey building and in a private yard. No infrastructure damage was reported. Debris was also found in the yard of a private home in the Festival microdistrict, and glazing was damaged in a neighbouring multi-storey building,” Naumov wrote.

Following the nighttime attacks, the mayor advised residents: “We recommend not sending children to school today. The threat of drone attacks remains in Krasnodar and the Krasnodar region. All social institutions are operating and ready to receive children. Staff and managers have been briefed on procedures in case of a drone attack. However, given today’s tense situation, we recommend keeping children home. School leaders will understand this precaution.”
Eyewitness footage showed the apartment in Krasnodar engulfed in flames after being struck by a drone, with residents describing the scene as “simply blazing, what a nightmare.”
