Ukrainian drone hits residential building in Russia’s Tula region, governor says

A Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle struck a residential apartment building in the town of Shchekino in Russia’s Tula region.

Tula Region Governor Dmitry Milyaev said residents were evacuated from the building following the incident and emergency services were deployed to the scene, Caliber.Az reports. 

“According to preliminary information, no one was injured,” Milyaev said in a statement, adding that regional emergency teams and the government’s operational headquarters were responding to the aftermath of the strike.
