Authorities have declared a local state of emergency at a Wildberries logistics complex in the Russian city of Nevinnomyssk following a fire that broke out after a reported Ukrainian drone attack, according to the ASTRA Telegram channel.

Stavropol Region Governor Vladimir Vladimirov said the emergency measure would allow additional resources to be deployed for the response effort.

“A local-level state of emergency has been declared in the area of the fire at the logistics complex in Nevinnomyssk. This will make it possible to bring in additional resources to deal with the consequences of the incident. Firefighting operations are continuing, and an Emergencies Ministry helicopter has begun work at the site,” Vladimirov noted.

The governor added that one of the people who had previously sought medical assistance was later hospitalised, although there is no threat to the individual’s life.

Earlier, ASTRA reported that a Wildberries sorting centre in Nevinnomyssk, located in Russia’s Stavropol region, caught fire following a Ukrainian drone strike. Regional authorities said five people were injured at the warehouse complex on the outskirts of the city.

Wildberries founder and CEO of the merged Wildberries & Russ (RWB) company, Tatyana Kim, confirmed that the company’s logistics centres in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk had come under attack overnight.

A large-scale drone attack targeted an oil storage facility in Russia’s Krasnodar region, with a fire breaking out at an oil depot in the city of Armavir.

According to local authorities, at least 16 drones struck the city’s northern industrial zone, causing a blaze that spread across an area of approximately 800 square metres. More than 40 emergency personnel and nine pieces of equipment were deployed to contain the fire, Caliber.Az reports.

The attack also targeted Wildberries logistics centres in Krasnodar and the city of Nevinnomyssk in Russia’s Stavropol region.

Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim confirmed the attacks and said there had been casualties, adding that assistance would be provided to those affected. According to preliminary information, three people were injured in Krasnodar and five others in Nevinnomyssk.

This recent large-scale drone attack continues a pattern of Ukrainian strikes targeting Russian logistics infrastructure.

On July 18, 2026, Ukrainian drones struck major Wildberries warehouses in Elektrostal in the Moscow region and Kotovsk in the Tambov region, causing significant fires and resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries, with Ukrainian forces confirming the hits on facilities they described as supporting military logistics. 

A follow-up attack on July 20, 2026, targeted another Wildberries logistics hub near Podolsk in the Moscow region, along with nearby fuel sites, sparking large fires visible from afar.

These incidents have damaged a notable portion of Wildberries' warehouse capacity and prompted the company to adjust policies on compensating sellers for losses from such strikes.
