Ukrainian, Russian media outlets discuss Trump’s 100-day plan to end war
Russian and Ukrainian media outlets are publishing US President Donald Trump’s so-called "100-Day Plan to End the War in Ukraine" allegedly shared by US diplomats with their European counterparts.
The authenticity of the document has not been confirmed yet, but its content echoes public statements made by Trump and his special envoy, Keith Kellogg, Caliber.Az reports.
Key points of the plan:
A conversation between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin is scheduled for late January to early February 2025.
The repeal of the decree by Volodymyr Zelenskyy prohibiting negotiations with Putin.
Organization of a trilateral meeting among Trump, Putin, and Zelenskyy at the end of February to early March 2025.
A ceasefire declaration for Easter (April 20, 2025), with the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Kursk region.
The organization of an international peace conference by the end of April 2025. A prisoner exchange based on the "all for all" principle.
The conclusion of the war through the signing of a declaration at the conference by May 9, 2025.
Presidential election in Ukraine scheduled for August and parliamentary elections for October 2025.
Framework conditions:
Guaranteeing Ukraine’s neutral status, with a ban on joining NATO.
Ukraine’s accession to the European Union by 2030, with economic recovery supported by European funds.
Modernization of Ukraine's Armed Forces with assistance from the United States.
Ukraine's renunciation of reclaiming occupied territories without Russia's recognition of their sovereignty.
Partial lifting of sanctions on Russia following the signing of the peace agreement.
Resumption of energy exports from Russia to Europe, with tariffs established for Ukraine’s reconstruction.
Holding elections with pro-Russian parties and halting the persecution of the Russian-speaking citizens because of language and Orthodox Church.
Deployment of a European peacekeeping contingent in mutually agreed areas.
The implementation of the plan, as stated in the document, is possible with successful negotiations between Moscow and Washington. If the dialogue fails, the initiative will be put on hold.
