Media: Ukrainian strike hits Lukoil refinery in Russia's Perm region PHOTO/VIDEO

Ukraine's armed forces have struck Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez (PNOS), one of Russia's largest oil refineries, according to an open-source intelligence analysis by ASTRA.

Perm Governor Dmitry Makhonin also confirmed the attack on an "industrial facility" and said several drones were intercepted by Russia's Defence Ministry while approaching the area, Caliber.Az reports.

He noted that no casualties had been reported.

Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez is a major refinery in Russia's Perm region.

Ukraine previously launched multiple drone attacks on energy infrastructure in Perm in late April and early May.

Part of the Lukoil group, PNOS processes more than 13 million tons of crude oil annually, producing a wide range of petroleum products, including high-grade gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and lubricants.

The refinery is one of the region's key industrial facilities and among the most technologically advanced in Russia, supplying both the domestic market and export destinations.
