US base in flames: Response by Islamic Resistance in Iraq

The pro-Iranian Islamic Resistance group in Iraq has said it attacked two US military bases in response to US Air Force strikes on targets in Iraq and Syria.

According to NEWS.ru, the group claims to have struck the al-Asad military bases in Iraq and al-Tanf in Syria, where the US military is stationed.

A US military base in the Deir ez-Zor area, in northeastern Syria, was also hit by rocket fire. A fire broke out at the base after the attack.

United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) has not yet commented on the information.
