US Embassy pledges continued close cooperation with Azerbaijan
The United States reaffirmed its commitment to close cooperation with Azerbaijan following a meeting between U.S. Vice President James David Vance and President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed the implementation of the historic Peace Summit held at the White House on August 8, 2025, and reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace, security, and prosperity in the region.

According to a statement from the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan, the two leaders also signed the U.S.-Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership Charter, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
“The leaders signed the U.S. Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership Charter, which will strengthen bilateral relations between our countries. The United States remains committed to working with Azerbaijan to unlock the great potential of the South Caucasus region,” the embassy said.
