Azerbaijan’s new ambassador begins diplomatic mission in Belgium

On August 28, Azerbaijan’s newly appointed Ambassador to Belgium, Mammad Ahmadzada, presented a copy of his Letter of Credence to Pierre Cartuyvels, Chief of Protocol at Belgium’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Today, I presented a copy of my Letter of Credence to Ambassador Pierre Cartuyvels, Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium. I am grateful to His Excellency for the warm welcome and insightful exchange of views. I look forward to strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belgium,” Ahmadzada said in a post on X.

Ahmadzada was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Belgium by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 10.
