US, Israeli strikes hit Kharg Island, Iran’s key oil hub

Joint US and Israeli operations on Kharg Island struck bunkers, a radar installation, and ammunition depots, Jennifer Griffin, Fox News’ chief national security correspondent reported.

“The targets that the US hit on Kharg Island included bunkers, radar station, ammunition storage. Landing docks were not intentionally targeted. Only would have been struck if Iranians fired something from next to them, according to US official who spoke to Fox News,” Griffin said in a post on X account.

Kharg Island, Iran’s primary oil hub, has previously been identified as a strategic site in the region, and earlier reports confirmed the involvement of US and Israeli forces in the strike.
