US-Israeli strikes target Iran’s Marvdasht petrochemical complex

The petrochemical complex in Marvdasht, Iran, was hit by US and Israeli strikes, causing a fire at one of the facilities, Fars news agency reports, citing the local administration.

“The fire was contained within minutes after the attack on Marvdasht’s petrochemical complex by the criminal American-Zionist enemies. The strike caused no significant damage to the industrial facility; only a small portion sustained minor harm,” the agency said. No casualties were reported, and operations at the facility continued uninterrupted.

Earlier reports indicated that on April 6, an airstrike affected utility services supplying the petrochemical centre in Asaluyeh, Iran.
