US sends new batch of M777 howitzers to Ukraine

The United States has sent another batch of M777 trailer-type howitzers as part of a military aid package for Ukraine to fight the Russian invasion.

“A US Marine Corps M777 howitzer is being loaded onto a US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III at March Air Reserve Base, California as part of US security assistance to Ukraine,” European Pravda reports, citing the Facebook post of the US Defence Department, in which one of the howitzers is seen being loaded onto the aircraft.
