US-Ukrainian delegations find common ground on peace deal — official
The US and Ukrainian delegations have reached a mutual understanding on the key terms of the American peace plan discussed during recent talks in Geneva, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov confirmed.
Speaking on his Telegram channel, Umerov emphasized the value of the meetings, describing them as “productive and constructive” and highlighting President Donald Trump’s consistent efforts to bring an end to the conflict, Caliber.Az reports.
“Our delegations have reached a mutual understanding on the key terms of the agreement discussed in Geneva,” he wrote.
“We now look forward to the support of our European partners in the next steps. We anticipate arranging President Zelenskyy’s visit to the United States at the earliest possible date in November to finalize the remaining stages and reach an agreement with President Trump.”
