At present, details regarding the drone’s warhead, range, flight time, or production cost have not been disclosed.
The Shahed 136 is a loitering munition, often referred to as a "kamikaze" drone, developed by Iran. It is designed for long-range strikes, capable of flying for hundreds of kilometres before crashing into its target and detonating its warhead.
The drone has gained notoriety for its use in conflicts across the Middle East and Eastern Europe, where it has been deployed to target infrastructure, military assets, and supply lines.
Its relatively low cost, ease of production, and effective range have made the Shahed 136 a significant tool in Iran’s unmanned aerial capabilities.
