Uzbek rescuers save 13 people from quake wreckages
Since the beginning of the search and rescue operations in the zone of two devastating earthquakes in Türkiye, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan have rescued 13 people, and also removed the bodies of 64 dead from under the rubble.
According to Anadolu, Uzbek rescuers are involved in operations in the southern Turkish province of Hatay.
In addition, doctors of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan, as well as medicines, emergency supplies, and special equipment were delivered to the disaster zone.
Recently, a special aircraft landed in Gaziantep under the instructions of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to provide emergency assistance to victims of earthquakes.
Along with another batch of humanitarian aid, an additional search and rescue team and medical personnel were delivered to the disaster area, putting the total number of Uzbek rescuer and medical personnel at 71.
