Uzbekistan's prime minister visits liberated Fuzuli city of Azerbaijan PHOTO
Uzbekistan's Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov travelled on July 19 to the liberated Fuzuli city of Azerbaijan as part of his official visit to the country.
According to the regional correspondent of Azertag, Aripov was met at the Fuzuli International Airport by Emin Huseynov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the territories liberated from occupation in the Karabakh economic region.
Huseynov informed the guest in detail about the repair, restoration, and creative work carried out in Fizuli, the prospects for the development of the city, as well as its investment potential.
The Uzbek premier toured the sites vandalised by Armenians in Fuzuli, which remained under occupation for about 30 years. Aripov was also informed about the destroyed city buildings and environmental terror committed by Armenians.
Later, the officials inspected the school, the ongoing construction of which is funded by the Uzbek government.
Aripov was informed that in the near future, it is planned to complete the construction of both residential buildings and a secondary school in Fuzuli and as part of the "Great Return Program", the first residents will be resettled in the city.
