Azerbaijani, US NATO envoys discuss partnership, regional peace
US Ambassador to NATO Matt Whitaker and Azerbaijan’s Head of Mission to NATO, Jafar Huseynzada, held a meeting to discuss the Azerbaijan–NATO partnership under the Partnership for Peace (PfP) program and prospects for future cooperation.
Huseynzada expressed his appreciation for the meeting on X, noting that he was “truly delighted for our exchange on Azerbaijan–NATO partnership within the framework of the PfP program, as well as prospects for future partnership, Caliber.Az reports.

He also highlighted the role of the US and President Donald Trump in promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
Similarly, Whitaker wrote on his X page that he and Huseynzada discussed the historic peace deal reached in Washington.
"Today, I met with Ambassador Jafar Huseynzada, head of Azerbaijan’s Mission to NATO. We discussed the historic peace deal brokered by US President Donald Trump, which ended 35 years of conflict. Peace saves lives and unlocks prosperity at home and abroad," he wrote.
