VMedia: No Nazism in Armenia, no wars anymore VIDEO

10 May 2022 20:10

VMedia YouTube channel’s another video titled “Armenian nation - victim of Nasizm” describes that the glorification of Nazism in Armenia in recent decades is directly related to the current moment, when the country is at a turning point in its history to make a choice in favour of peace or the continuation of an aggressive policy towards neighbouring countries.

In this video, it is obviously seen how Nazism became the state ideology in Armenia, starting from the rule of former presidents Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan.

The demonstrated excerpts from the brochure published by the Republican Party of Armenia, which uses the Nazi doctrine of Garegin Nzhdeh - Tsehakronutyun, similar to fascist principles such as "purity of blood" and "purity of language", caste system, the representation of the Armenian society as a super-race among “subhumans”, ethnic cleansing, an aggressive policy towards neighbouring countries, etc. are clearly visible.

The authors answer the question of why Garegin Nzhdeh was considered a criminal (he was sentenced to imprisonment or subject to deportation) both in the Russian Empire which was close to absolutism, in the democratic US, and in Bulgaria, Iran, the communist USSR in different years, however, the only place in which he was a favourite person was Nazi Germany and today's Armenia.

The fragments of the indictment in the case of the Dashnaktsutyun party, the trial of which was held in Russia’s St. Petersburg city in 1912 were one of the unique pieces that testify to Nzhdeh's terrorist activity.

In his commentary, Azerbaijani political analyst Fuad Akhundov emphasizes that it is very symbolic that today Armenian individuals who have accepted Nzhdeh’s ideology and who are directly responsible for the spread of Nazism – ex-president Kocharyan, ex-president Sargsyan, former defence minister Ohanyan, and others - mainly stand against the signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, they oppose the long-awaited peace in the South Caucasus.

“These Nazis intensified activity while voicing revanchist claims. The ideology of Kocharyan, Sargsyan and others is territorial claims in relation to the neighbouring countries. Armenian people are on the edge of the abyss thanks to those individuals, and now they are again trying to deceive the Armenians and urge them to participate in a false “liberation” war under Nazi slogans,” Akhundov said.

The political analyst stressed that therefore, the film titled “Armenian People – Victim of Nazism” calls for fair punishment for all being guilty of spreading and applying Nazi ideology in Armenia.

“They committed crimes against humanity in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region. They expelled and killed the Azerbaijani civilians, and destroyed the cultural and religious heritage of the Azerbaijani people. From this point of view, the current events in Armenia were predictable,” the political analyst said.

“If there is no Nazism in Armenia, there will be no more wars. Peace, which will bring prosperity and stability, will be finally established in the region. This is a direct rule. This is a reason for the Armenian people to think about the past situation, and it is very important which way Armenia will choose,” Akhundov added.
