Wildberries updates warehouse safety rules after drone attack on Moscow region facility

21 July 2026 12:56

Russian e-commerce company Wildberries has revised its safety procedures for logistics facilities following a drone attack on one of its warehouses in the Moscow region that left dozens of people injured.

Chief Executive Tatiana Kim said the company had updated its emergency response rules, stressing that safety at Wildberries centres remained the company's top priority, Caliber.Az reports.

She said management would take all necessary measures at the first sign of a potential threat to protect employees.

Kim also announced a review of staff pay arrangements to ensure workers continue to receive their usual level of remuneration if evacuations disrupt operations and affect their income.

During the night of July 17–18, Russian authorities said 48 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over the Moscow region. A Wildberries warehouse in the city of Elektrostal was hit in the attack, leaving 37 people injured.
