Wildberries warehouse catches fire in Russia’s Bashkortostan PHOTO / UPDATED
Two people were injured and hospitalised following a drone attack in Russia’s Bashkortostan region, regional head Radiy Khabirov said.
A total of 21 drones were involved in the attack, with 16 shot down over Salavat, Khabirov said on Telegram.
The remaining drones targeted a logistics centre in the Chishminsky District, where a fire was being extinguished. A Ka-32 firefighting and rescue helicopter was also deployed to the site.
Khabirov said both injured people were receiving medical treatment in hospital.

A large Wildberries warehouse and distribution complex is on fire in the Chishminsky District of Russia’s Republic of Bashkortostan.
According to Exilenova+, the facility is used to store, sort and further distribute Wildberries goods for dual-use purposes. A large-scale fire broke out at the hub after it was struck.

Meanwhile, another fire was reported at the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat oil refinery in the city of Salavat, Bashkortostan. The incident came amid reports of a UAV attack on the region.
