Yerevan sees progress toward restoring relations with Türkiye

Armenia expects a full normalisation of relations with Türkiye in the near future, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said.

Mirzoyan made the remarks in a recent statement addressing the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

“I think that in the near future there will be a full normalisation of relations with Türkiye. At present, there is direct trade between Türkiye and Armenia in customs terms, but geographically it is still carried out through the territory of third countries,” Mirzoyan noted.
