"Zarifa Aliyeva" ferry sets sails for first trip PHOTO

The “Zarifa Aliyeva” cargo ship of Ro-Pax type, which was built in Azerbaijan, set sails on Wednesday for the first trip from the Baku Seaport.

The ship that was put into operation on April 28, 2022, is able to carry 100 passengers, 56  tank wagons or 50 cargo trucks simultaneously, according to Oxu.Az.

The ship has reportedly transported 37 trucks, one cargo and 20 passenger cars to the Kuryk port of Kazakhstan in the Caspian Sea.
