Azerbaijan's chefs climb onto podium in Istanbul culinary competition PHOTOS

Members of Azerbaijan's Culinary Association have attended the International Culinary Championship in Istanbul and reached the podium posts with their gastronomic creations.

The team representing Azerbaijan has won a total of 8 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals with their culinary treasures from all corners of our country, as Oxu.Az reported.

Istanbul hosts the International Culinary Championship as part of the VIII World Halal Summit and the IX Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in support of the Turkish Presidential Administration under the motto “For sustainable trade: discover the development of the global halal industry in all aspects". The event is attended by over 90 chefs from about 40 countries demonstrating their nation's dishes.
