Winter Exercises-2023 underway in Türkiye

The biggest "Winter Exercises-2023" in Türkiye’s history are underway in Kars province in eastern Anatolia.
The servicemen from 17 countries, including Germany, Italy, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the UK, are taking part in the exercises along with units of the Turkish Armed Forces, according to Anadolu Agency.
In general, 1,758 servicemen are participating in the Winter Exercises 2023, and 651 pieces of equipment and 865 pieces of 23 types of weapons are used.
The air temperature in eastern Anatolia has recently dropped to minus 18 degrees below zero, however, the participants are still practicing various operations and maneuvers.
A group of journalists also reviewed the exercises and spoke to officers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.
