Pundit: Armenian PM prefers Washington to Moscow
30 January 2023 13:10
Armenian political analyst Ervand Bozoyan has said that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had chosen Washington over Moscow.
He said Armenia's security problems have deep roots, which are also linked to the relationship between the Armenian and Russian authorities, Caliber.Az reports quoting Armenian media.
According to the expert, Russia does not accept or trust Pashinyan, which affects the overall situation.
“And now, both Russia and the US have put Pashinyan before a choice: either Moscow or Washington and the prime minister has opted for Washington, which means that considerable efforts will be made to eliminate Russian influence altogether, as was done in Georgia under Mikheil Saakashvili’s tenure,” Bozoyan said.
