Azerbaijanis very active on Khankendi-Lachin road on 51st day of eco-protest

Despite the frosty weather, the protest on the Khankendi-Lachin road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in Azerbaijan's Karabakh economic region has been going on for 51 days. Eco-activists, as in the first days of the protests, are very active.

The action, which began on the morning of December 12 last year, continued on the night of January 31. The participants of the action demonstrate firm will and perseverance, Report informs.

They are provided with hot meals and a place to stay overnight. Safety rules are observed during the demonstrations, no incidents were recorded during the night.

Eco-activists traditionally started the day with the performance of Azerbaijan's national anthem and then patriotic songs.
