Azerbaijani border guard wounded as result of Armenia’s provocation in Zangilan

Serviceman of the State Border Service, junior sergeant Ramin Manafov was wounded as a result of the Armenian side’s provocation.
The Armenian Armed Forces opened fire from the positions located in Nerkin-And settlement of Gafan district at the positions of the border troops of the Azerbaijani State Border Service located at the Agbashyurd height of Zangilan district on the section of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border passing through the Zangilan district on March 20 at 02:50 (GMT+4), Caliber.Az reports citing the State Border Service.
The serviceman was taken to a specialised hospital and operated on. His life is out of danger.
Currently, the situation is stable and is fully controlled by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
The State Border Service regards this incident as Armenia’s another provocation and the Armenian side is fully responsible for it.
