Azerbaijani diplomats review bilateral cooperation agenda with partner states
The eighth panel of the IX Consultation of the Heads of Diplomatic Service Bodies of Azerbaijan convened under the theme “Bilateral Cooperation Agenda: Challenges and Opportunities,” bringing together key figures in Azerbaijan’s foreign policy apparatus.
Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzayev, Elnur Mammadov, Yalçın Rafiyev, and Samir Sharifov served as keynote speakers during the four-block session, which focused on evaluating the current state of Azerbaijan’s bilateral relations with partner countries and outlining strategies for future collaboration, Caliber.Az reports, citing Foreign Ministry’s X post.

The panel explored mechanisms for enhancing bilateral ties and discussed actionable steps to be taken in light of existing partnerships. Participants analysed geopolitical dynamics and considered practical tools for deepening diplomatic engagement on both regional and global scales.
The IX Consultation of the Heads of Diplomatic Service Bodies officially opened on July 7 at ADA University under the overarching theme “Azerbaijan’s Foreign Policy After the Restoration of Sovereignty: Priorities and Challenges.” The three-day event will conclude on July 9, coinciding with the professional holiday of Azerbaijan’s diplomatic service employees.
A special session is scheduled to take place in Khankendi, underscoring the strategic importance of diplomacy in the context of ongoing regional developments.
