Azerbaijan, Timor-Leste explore avenues for bilateral cooperation

Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, held talks with José Ramos-Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, to discuss the avenues for bilateral collaboration.

The meeting underscored the importance of President Ramos-Horta’s participation in the Global Baku Forum, the Cabinet of Ministers told Caliber.Az.

The sides highlighted the value of strengthened cooperation between Azerbaijan and Timor-Leste within international organizations, including the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.

They also discussed prospects for expanding bilateral relations across various sectors, signaling a shared commitment to deeper diplomatic and economic ties.
