Timor-Leste president arrives in Azerbaijan for Global Baku Forum photo

President of Timor-Leste José Ramos-Horta arrived in Azerbaijan on March 11 to take part in the 13th Global Baku Forum.

According to local media, the Timorese leader was welcomed upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov and other officials.

Ramos-Horta is among a number of world leaders and high-level guests expected to participate in the 13th Global Baku Forum, which is organised by the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre.

The forum will include wide-ranging discussions on global challenges, multilateral cooperation, and international security issues.
