Azerbaijan facilitates evacuation of 36 Indonesians from Iran

Evacuations from Iran through the Azerbaijan border continue as regional tensions escalate.

Some 36 Indonesian citizens, including three diplomats, were recently safely evacuated through the Azerbaijan border, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The operation also secured the evacuation of five Chinese nationals and one Canadian citizen, highlighting Azerbaijan’s role as a transit point for foreign nationals seeking safety amid the unfolding situation in Iran.
