Baku Initiative Group hit by cyberattacks after Sikh rights conference

The Baku Initiative Group (BIG) has come under a series of cyberattacks in the wake of an international conference it organized addressing issues faced by the Sikh community, which continues to face persecution in India.

According to BIG, the attacks targeted the group’s digital systems shortly after the event concluded, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

In addition, the organization reported that death threats were directed at Bual Moninder Singh, Chair of the Sikh Federation in Canada, and his family.
