Russia declares termination of military inspections accord with Finland

The Russian Foreign Ministry has said that an agreement with Finland on military inspections was terminated due to the new situation [between the countries].

The possibility of signing new joint commitments is not being considered. The agreement was terminated on June 1, RBC reports, citing the ministry.

Earlier, Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto said that Russia's military activity on the border with the country that recently joined NATO has not changed in any way.
