In accordance with the plan of preparation for the 2023 academic year, the Separate Combined Arms Army conducted the next command and staff training of formations and units.

During the exercises, objectives such as operations planning by headquarters, commander decision-making in adverse situations during operations, and so on were met, Reports informs.

Joint actions of artillery, anti-tank and anti-aircraft defence units involved in the exercises were worked out. The focus was on the uninterrupted management of subunits in mountainous terrain and the organization of interaction and integrated support.

At the final stage of the command and staff training, the reality of the decisions made and reports compiled was verified on computers at the simulation centre.

It was noted that the analysis of the activities carried out at the end of the exercise achieved coordinated action between units, success in the use of weapons and combat equipment, as well as modern weapon systems and technical means.
