The Lachin border checkpoint, established on 23 April 2023, is already fully operational.

As seen in the video presented by Caliber.Az, filmed today, June 3, ethnic Armenians - young and old - freely use it. Moreover, everything is organised and disciplined, in the atmosphere of mutual courtesy.

This is further proof that the separatist myth of blockade and ethnic cleansing has burst like a bubble.

At 12:00 on April 23, the units of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan set up a border checkpoint in the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan, on the border with Armenia, at the beginning of the Lachin-Khankandi road as an adequate response to the unilateral establishment of a border pass by Armenia at the entrance to the Lachin-Khankandi road on the border with Azerbaijan on April 22 and to prevent the illegal transfer of manpower, ammunition, landmines, as well as other military equipment from Armenia to the Armenian armed formations on the territory of Azerbaijan that runs contrary to the Tripartite Statement of November 10, 2020.
