President Aliyev recalls that Azerbaijan's word "as valuable as signature"

"We were informed this morning that our terms have been accepted. Furthermore, representatives of the Armenian community living in Garabagh, who had been refusing to meet with our representatives over a span of several months, are ready to meet us at the, by us, indicated site - in the city of Yevlakh".

According to AZERTAC, President Ilham Aliyev disclosed this information during his address to the people on September 20.

Speaking about the conditions of Azerbaijan for stopping the anti-terrorist measures, the head of state said: "My response was as such, that Azerbaijan, as always, is being true to its word. Our friends and enemies know this. Our word is as valuable as our signature, and if our terms are accepted, our activities, military activities will cease, and at 1 p.m. today [September 20] a ceasefire had been declared. Unfortunately, the other side did not fully respect the ceasefire. Even after the ceasefire was declared, our positions were subject to shelling. Nevertheless, our conditions have been, in principle, fully accepted".
