President Aliyev pays respect to fallen soldiers in anti-terror measures

    President Ilham Aliyev announced with regret that Azerbaijan had to count casualties in the course of the anti-terror measures.

    As reported by AZERTAC, the head of state disclosed this fact during his address to the nation on September 20 regarding the latest developments in Garabagh.

    "Unfortunately, in the course of the anti-terror measures we do have Shahids [Eng: Martyrs]. May Allah bless our Shahids' souls. We have also had injured soldiers and officers. May Allah cure them", the president stated.

    President Aliyev highlighted, that they have given their lives for their homeland, for justice, and for Azerbaijan's sovereignty and ensured, that the Shahids "will forever remain in our hearts in loving memory".
