Representatives of Garabagh Armenians leave Yevlakh
Representatives of the Armenian residents of Azerbaijan’s Garabagh region have left Yevlakh.
On 21 September 2023, a meeting with representatives of Armenian residents of the Garabagh region was held in the Yevlakh district at the invitation of the Presidential Administration, Trend reports.
During the meeting, issues related to the reintegration of the Armenian residents of Karabakh on the basis of the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan were discussed.
The central authorities of Azerbaijan were represented at the meeting by Ramin Mammadov, responsible for contacts with Armenian residents living in Azerbaijan’s Garabagh region, Bashir Hajiyev, Deputy Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh economic region (excluding the Shusha region), and Ilkin Sultanov, an employee of the Special Representative Office.
The Armenian residents of Garabagh were represented by Sergey Martirosyan and David Melkumyan.
A representative of the Russian peacekeeping contingent attended the meeting as a participant.
