PM Pashinyan bans accommodation of Garabagh Armenians in Yerevan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has told his team members not to accommodate Armenians voluntarily leaving Azerbaijan’s Garabagh region in Yerevan.

Their accommodation in Yerevan could become a time bomb for the Armenian authorities, he said, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Hraparak newspaper.

"The ruling authorities in Armenia believe that Russian peacekeepers will try to make sure that about 20,000 Armenians remain in Karabakh," the newspaper writes.

According to the newspaper, this is necessary to justify the stay of the Russian peacekeepers in Garabagh.
